Application for enrolment 

Parents submit a completed application, the appropriate Application Fee, student case history, permission for release of records, copies of previous assessments and a current ILP (if applicable). 

-An initial student review will proceed when all required records (above) are received.   

-The admissions team will review the above documents and make preliminary determination of eligibility to decide whether the admission process should continue. Parents will be notified in writing or contacted via phone of the outcome of this determination. 

Student and Parents Interview  

-If recommended for further consideration, the student and their parents are required to meet with the Admission Team to discuss the student’s educational needs. If the student is recommended for the final phase of admissions consideration, the parents will be contacted regarding a school visit. If admission is not recommended, the parents will be notified in writing.  

Final Admissions Eligibility Determination 

-Student Visit – the student will complete a one day visit to Dream Ideal Education School so that teachers can make clinical observations. 

-A final determination of eligibility will be made and a letter of decline or acceptance, along with a contract, enrollment forms and financial information will be mailed to the family.   

School records for the current and previous years are required to review admission:

•School report cards

•Reports, such as speech and language, occupational therapy, counselling, etc., that provide information about the student’s ability.
